GENE FOSTER TRADITIONAL RENDEZVOUS

The Gene Foster Traditional Rendezvous, hosted by the Fresno Field Archers, is held annually on the 2nd weekend of November. It honors the many contributions to the club made by long-time member Gene Foster. (Gene, by the way, is still very much alive and kicking)

The Fresno Field Archers course is near Dunlap, which is about 35 miles east on RT 180 from the city of Fresno.

SATURDAY features the fun events from 11 AM to 4 PM and they live up to most anyone's expectations.

The shots are definitely interesting, from the 2 steel targets that provide the clubhouse with a winter's supply of kindling, to the cement pipe, the treestand, the rabbit in the rocks and the bucking bronco.
